 Geregistreerde deelnemer #283 Geregistreerd: 22-05-2011, 22:17:51Woonplaats: Workum berichten: 3 | NOTICE OF RACE Class Dutch Championship Javelin class Under authority of the Royal Dutch Yachting Association Organised by Zeilvereniging Belterwiede from June, 2nd to June, 5th, 2011 location: Beulakerwijde 1 RULES 1.1* The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing. 1.2 The prescriptions of the Royal Dutch Yachting Association will apply . 1.3* The ‘Rules for Championships Sailing and Windsurfing’ will apply. 1.6 If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence. 2 ADVERTISING Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority. 3* ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY 3.1 The regatta is open to all boats of the JAVELIN class. 3.2 Eligible boats may enter by completing the attached form at [een link] , together with the required fee € 100,00. 3.3 Late entries will be accepted under the following conditions: € 120,00. 5 FEES 5.1 € 100,00 for all races The entry fees do not include camping, BBQ and/or dinner. 5.2 late entries € 120,00 7 SCHEDULE 7.1* Registration: Thursday June 2, 2011 From: 09.30 - 11.00 h 7.2 MEASUREMENT AND INSPECTIONS: Thursday June 2, 2011 From 09.30 - 11.00 h 7.3* DATES OF RACING: Date June, 2 racing 2 June, 3 racing 3 June, 4 racing 3 June, 5 racing 2 7.4 NUMBER OF RACES: Class JAVELIN 10 races 7.5* The scheduled time of the warning signal for the First race is June 2 12.55 h Following days is 10.55 h 8 MEASUREMENTS Each boat shall produce a valid measure¬ment certificate. 9 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS The sailing instructions will be available after on Thursday June, 2nd at registration in Maxime. 10 VENUE 10.1 Attachment A shows the location of the regatta harbour. 10.2 Attachment B shows the location of the racing areas. 11 THE COURSES The courses to be sailed will be as follows: Old Olympic Triangle The diagrams in Attachment C show the courses, including the approximate angles between legs, the order in which marks are to be passed, and the side on which each mark is to be left. [The approx¬¬imate course length will be 1 hour.] 12 Penalty system Appendix P will apply 13 SCORING 13.1* The Low Point System will be used fort scoring as provided in Appendix A. Four races are required to be completed to constitute a series. 13.2 (a) When fewer than 5 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores. (b) When from 5 to 8 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her worst score. (c) When from 9 to 13 races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores excluding her two worst scores (d) When 13 or more races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores exclud¬ing her three worst scores. 15 BERTHING Boats shall be kept in their assigned places in the harbour. 17 DIVING EQUIPMENT AND PLASTIC POOLS Underwater breathing apparatus and plas¬tic pools or their equivalent shall not be used around keel boats between the pre¬paratory signal of the first race and the end of the regatta. 18 RADIO COMMUNICATION A boat shall neither make radio trans¬missions while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats. This restriction also applies to mobile tele¬phones. VHF will only be used for safety communication. 19 PRIZES Prizes will be given for the Class Championship for the top three crews. Additional daily prizes can be awarded 20 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See rule 4, Deci¬sion to Race. Reservations can be made for all days before the first race on Thursday, June 2nd. Between race lunch can be provides by Maxime at own costs. At the end of each racing day there will be a Happy ½ Hour in the club bar. The entry fees do not include camping, BBQ and/or dinner. Attachment A: the location of the harbor Routebeschrijving: Komend vanaf Zwolle: Van A28 afslagnummer 18 richting Hasselt, daarna richting Giethoorn. Voor de Blauwe Hand Brug links richting Vollenhove, na ongeveer 100m. rechts Waterpark Beulaeke Haven op. Komend vanaf Steenwijk: Van A32 afslagnummer 7 richting Giethoorn, daarna richting Meppel. Na de Blauwe Hand Brug rechts richting Vollenhove, na ongeveer 100m. rechts Waterpark Beulaeke Haven op. Vanuit Drenthe en Groningen via de A28 U neemt de afslag A32 richting Leeuwarden/Meppel. Bij Meppel-Noord neemt u de afslag. N375 blijven volgen tot de rotonde richting Giethoorn N334. Net voor de Blauwe Hand brug linksaf richting Vollenhove. Na 200 m rechts inrit Waterpark Beulaeke Haven. Vanaf Emmeloord: Van A6 afslagnummer 15 richting Marknesse, daarna richting Vollenhove en Giethoorn. Een nieuw com en nieuwe mensen op de cantine. Dus kom met zijn allen, mooi weer en een top meer. Camperen en campers staan bij elkaar. Eerste start tijd is om 13.00 uur. Groeten Jan | ||
